Although the mobile app doesn't possess all the features of the web app, it still boasts of an impressive array of functionalities:

Installing the Gist Mobile App
The Gist mobile app can be installed on iOS devices running iOS 14 or later or on Android devices running Android 7.0 or later. It is possible, but not supported, to run the app on Macs with Apple Silicon.
For iOS devices
Follow these steps to install the Gist mobile app on your iOS device:
- Open the App Store on your device.
- Search for the Gist Live Chat app, then tap Get to download and install the app.
- Tap Open or open the Gist app on your device.
- A Would Like to Send You Notifications prompt will appear. If you want the Gist app to send you notifications, click Allow.
- Enter your Gist credentials and tap Log In. If you're a user in multiple Gist workspaces, you'll be prompted to select which workspace to access.
For Android devices
To install the Gist mobile app on your Android device, follow these steps:
- Open the Google Play Store on your device.
- Search for the Gist Live Chat app, then tap Install to download and install the app.
- Tap Open or open the Gist app on your device.
- Enter your Gist credentials and tap Log In. If you're a user in multiple Gist workspaces, you'll be prompted to select which workspace to access.
Managing Profile Settings
The mobile app also allows you to manage your profile settings. Changes made here will apply to the web app as well.
- Away Mode: Change your availability status and manually set yourself as away.
- Notification Settings: Control the mobile notification to make sure you're not missing out on any message.
- Change Password: Modify or reset your password for both the mobile and web app.
- Switch Workspace: If you own or are a part of multiple workspaces, you can choose which workspace to access conversations.
