Dark mode helps make working in Gist easier on your eyes by using a darker, higher-contrast colour theme. You can turn on dark mode from your Gist workspace preferences, or sync dark mode in Gist with your operating system (OS) settings.
Sync dark mode with your OS settings
Dark mode can be manually configured or set to respond to your system-wide color theme directly. This ensures a coherent experience for you when switching between different apps and tabs.
- Navigate to your Workspace settings.
- On the left sidebar, click Your preference > General
- Turn on "Sync with OS setting" option.
Switching to dark mode
- Navigate to your Workspace settings.
- On the left sidebar, click Your preference > General
- Turn off "Sync with OS setting" option.
- Under choose Themes, select Dark.
Note: When you select dark mode, it applies to only the current workspace you're signed into. If you switch between them, the themes would change too depending on the setting you chose for the workspace.
